A good rule of thumb is to use one tablespoon of bacon grease for every 750 ml of alcohol. 

Once the bacon grease is in the jar, carefully pour in the moonshine, ensuring that the jar is not overfilled. 

Seal the mason jar tightly to create an airtight environment for the infusion process. Shake the container vigorously to evenly distribute the bacon grease throughout the unaged rye.

Allow the mixture to sit for 1 to 2 weeks, giving it time to absorb the smoky and savory flavors of the bacon grease. 

During this time, the jar should be stored in a cool, dark place to prevent any changes in flavor. After the waiting period, strain the liquid through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove any remaining bacon particles, leaving behind a smooth and flavorful bacon-infused moonshine.
